Live south of London, UK.

Also know 2 other people with it - one lives a few miles from me, the other is a 2nd cousin who lives in Wales, but she's not a blood relation (my dad's sister's husband's sister's daughter).

I've set up a Google Map at:

maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF&msa=0&msid=204290505171256696009.00049e51ab6e95aed2db0

Hopefully you can add yourselves.

Click the edit, grab a blue balloon placemark (the middle one where you've got the hand, balloon and zig zag line in the top left of the map) and then put it on the map in as accurate a location as you like near where you live, and label it with your username. I've only done people so far who've given me a town rather than a county or state and I've put them in a park or somewhere which is unlikely to be their exact address (although it would be sheer coincidence if I've hit the jackpot and got anyone exactly correct!). and while i doubt that any of you are going to turn up on my doorstep, I've stuck my location on my nearest train station, a 10 min walk from my flat!

And what have we learnt? ITPers on this forum live in various parts of USA, Canada, northern europe, australia and NZ, one in india and one in the phillipines - so we're a worldwide disorder!

There should be a bar down the left hand side of the page with people's usernames on. it's in the top right hand corner of that bar. if it's not there, go to the top left of the map and you should see a pair of chevrons >> - click on that to open the side bar. tlmons added themselves so it's definitely possible!

it's cool to have a map like that! I did respond but don't see me listed on the map! I tried to put myself but don't have an edit button even. I see the list of others but no edit button. I see on the upper right of the screen a place to sign in. Do we have to sign in/up in order to have the edit button?
