The Combination of Tacrolimus and High-dose Dexamethasone as First-line Treatment in Adult Immune Thrombocytopenia

Peking University People's Hospital is conducting a phase two, randomized, open-label, multicenter study to compare the efficacy and safety of using high-dose dexamethasone in combination with Tacrolimus, an immunosuppressive, compared to using high-dose dexamethasone alone as a first line therapy for adults with newly diagnosed primary ITP. Eligibility includes adults over the age of 18 years who have a platelet count under 30,000 µL or under 50,000 µL with bleeding symptoms.
