Registration for the in-person ITP Conference in Seattle has closed.
More information will be coming soon for our virtual conference component.
PDSA is pleased to announce that our 22nd annual ITP Conference will take place July 29-31, at the Westin Seattle. We are thrilled to finally be able to bring our ITP community together in person and host this special annual meeting in Seattle, Washington, the magnificent summertime destination repeatedly requested by our patient population!
Three years in the making, the 2022 conference returns this premiere patient event to its original in-person format – offering ITP patients, caregivers, clinicians, and industry partners the much-anticipated opportunity to, once again, gather as a community, to reconnect with and learn from one another, and to reap the natural benefits of this shared experience.
Conference Safety Plan
As we prepare to come together in Seattle, the safety of all attendees and presenters remains our priority. We have designed a comprehensive plan of health and safety protocols that follows current CDC guidance, the opinions and direction of our Medical Advisors, and the insightful feedback of our patients submitted through our conference-planning survey. In addition to adhering to existing social distancing and hand-sanitizing practices, our Conference Safety Plan requires all attendees and presenters to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and to be masked while on-site for all conference sessions and activities. Learn more about our Conference Safety Plan HERE.
We have designed a robust and interactive conference agenda for the ITP patient community – featuring patient stories, participant polling, pressing topics, the most current insight on ITP and up-and-coming treatments, and the ever-popular Q & A between patients and PDSA’s Medical Advisors (11 of whom will be with us!). Don’t miss this special opportunity to participate in curated sessions and hear directly from these world-renown ITP specialists and researchers.
PDSA recognizes the financial hardship that the COVID-19 pandemic has created for many in our patient population. Should your interest in attending the 2022 ITP Conference be inhibited by cost, please know that we offer need-based conference scholarships to PDSA members. Scholarships are available to underwrite conference registration for two and two-nights’ stay plus taxes and fees at the Westin Seattle. Contact PDSA Administrative Director Brenda Foster at firstname.lastname@example.org to apply.
Though we cannot replicate the experience of attending the conference in person, PDSA understands the importance of educating and supporting those who cannot attend. Therefore, we will share informational highlights with our members in our quarterly newsletter, The Platelet News, and through a virtual component of select recorded sessions to be released in September for ITP Awareness Month.
