There are only 3 drugs I haven't tried.
1. A male hormone
2. A chemotherapy pill
3. Cyclosporine, imuran
My current N-Plate dose is 531mcg, B12 monthly and vitamin D3 once a week. Platelets today 134 and last week 204. I normally crash around holidaysI know N-Plate will at some point stop working.
I'll add blood work also
From 700 mcg down to 531 mcg? Sounds like things are going well.
My guess would be that Cyclosporine has the highest chance/probability of helping on that list. But, it is toxic to kidneys. 'Dr Bean' takes low doses of it with Promacta. I think he doesn't respond to Promacta without simultaneous Cyclosporine.
If you lose response to Nplate maybe you can ask your doc about higher doses of Promacta? Higher than the normal 75 mg. Some here on PDSA have gone on up to 150 mg dosage and it is working.
