I invested in a haematology analyser. I have started 5 days ago to test me in 12 hour intervals.
The first few days I found that I was losing more platelets during the night than during the day.
But the sample size is too small so far.
I started on a high at 198 (3/1) as I was coming off nPlate and I was having one of my rather rare high points. A week earlier I was in single digits with no change in the frequency and dose of nPlate (500 mcg). This evening (3/6) I am at 5. My base level is really 1-2.
I bought the machine to experiment with alternative treatments. I will try what "Cindy1" tried with the parasite treatment. I will get weekly IVIG to get my levels to moderate levels but overall the weekly rhythm is not too complicated to disect. I will try to keep updates here.
The doctors are out of options, so not I am taking responsibility for my own body. If it can learn to attach platelets it can unlearn it as well. I think the main target is my gut biom. Whenever I have to take antibiotics my platelets shoot up.
Diagnosed 7/2019 let the fun begin...
