ITP and Liver disease anyone? was created by judy.wu
Hi!

I've had ITP for about 3 years with no remission. About 6 months ago, an ultrasound showed multiple lesions, tumors and haemangiomas in my liver.

I still have my spleen, but one of my doctors said this liver tumors can contribute to my ITP. Should I worry it could be something worst? Anyone else with ITP and liver lesions?

The Liver can be an organ that creates platelets and consequently can cause the damage of low platelets. I have lost my spleen due to ITP (Idiopathic - version of ITP). I don't know a great deal about the Liver just that it regrows? Sorry to be confusing you more. As for the rest I hope someone can give a full clear answer as I say, I don't know much about the Liver.
