Hi-

I posted in general but I think here is more appropriate-

has anyone been triggered with ITP during preg., but it stayed? I was told it wold remit. That was ten eyars ago. I go between mild and moderate now.

Has anyone else had your ITP triggered by preg., and it did not remit?

What would cause that?

yep.....you are not the only one. My wife was diagnosed in the begining of 3rd trimester of her 2nd pregnancy just 2 years back.

she had to take sterods to make a safe c-section. after the delivery...about 20 days later her counts suddenly fell ( Under full dose of steroids). Then she received several other drugs..but..none was satisfactory. Finally, 4 months after the delivery she went through splenectomy....and had to take steroids for another 5 months. Now she is well (ALHAMDULLIAH) without any drugs......

So considering what we had gone through.....You are very very well.....so dont worry at all. be happy cause theres nothing we can do about it.....worring makes it even worse.
