This is my 4th pregnancy. I have chronic ITP, but my platelet levels tend to drop even lower during pregnancy. Prednisone works temporarily, but even at 80mg per day, they drop back down after a week. What has been most successful in the past has been IvIG infusions a week before a scheduled delivery. My hematologist would like to try Nplate this time, but he isn't sure if it has been given to a pregnant patient before, and it is currently rated a class C risk for pregnancy. His pharmacist and him are going to continue more research, but I'm curious if anyone here has ever received Nplate while pregnant, and if so what was your experience?

As far as I can recall, I have not seen N-Plate given during pregnancy.
