  • I'm 31 years old and a mom to two awesome little boys, I was diagnosed with itp when I was 17 years old. With no treatment my counts are 0-5 I am currently on nplate and I had a splenectomy in 2004

Yay 26 weeks pregnant about 12 left Bc their inducing me or I will be having a c section with ivig my platelets have been doing ok the last few weeks lowest I have been was 13 but today I went in for my CBC and my platelets were at 4 :( urg can't they just give me a lil break lol oh well this pregnancy is going better than I thought it would (knock on wood) I just can't wait till my lil boy is here and I can go back to nplate I'm spending 15-20 hours a week in my dr office 60mg of ivig three times a week just thought if share my experience incase anyone else is it is going to go through pregnancy with itp :)
