Well, I was staying logged in--actually for several days, but now I am having to log in each time I want to post, which means you won't be seeing many posts from me, because I am too impatient to do that.

you have to log in before every post? or just the first time you come on for the day? I'm not real computer saavy but it sounds like something from your computer, like clearing cookies or something. I dunno! Good luck!

Question: at the bottom you see ie: "Online 24 Members and 39 Guests" is this an accurate report of the people that are currently on line including those that didn't log off?

Oh my goodness. I'm still logged in after a few days break. Well that's half the problem sorted. Now if only they could sort the speed of the pages opening.. especially when you try to go back a page.. hit the back button and it takes minutes to get there and I just don't have the patience.

Ann, mine isn't that slow. It opens pretty quick for me.

Yes, I'd say about 5 second for me to back up a page, even on slow hotel Internet. I've found if I go from the discussion page to the PDSA home page and then back it logs me out.

I think it's slow and I think the slow part is loading the pictures on the top. It's faster if you turn those off.

Five seconds is a loooong time when you're waiting just to go back a page. Lily, how do you turn the pics off?

I haven't spent to much time on this. There should be somewhere you can set options for your browser. This will be either under Edit or Tools.

I use FireFox and it's under Edit/Preferences. There's an option you can click to turn off images under content.

I just checked IE and it's a little harder. It's under Tools/Internet Options. You have to click the Advanced tab and there's a checkbox you can click under Multimedia for show pictures. You want it unclicked.

The problem is these turn off the pictures for all web pages, which is less than desirable. But I'm supposed to be working (and not writing on discussion boards -SHHHH) so I don't really care.
