So yesterday I decided to play the box drum on my youth worship team. I got home and found out I had gotten bruises from practice. I had finally found a spot I was comfortable in, and once again, ITP ruined it for me. Im absolutely tired of having to deal with this. Its been a year now, and it's gone on long enough! Why can't this be over!?!?

31,000 isn't too bad. It's a safe count. However, there are other treatment options if you really want higher counts.

Well, my doctor doesnt want to pump me full of meds, and my platelets are doing an odd 2 steps forward 1 step back thing. So we are kinda just watching. If they drop below 10, then I get the IVG.

Good for your doctor! I wish more doctors felt that way. After taking quite a few medications over the years for various things, including ITP, I can honestly say that the drugs can do more harm than the illness does. You're too young for long-term side effects that can destroy your health. Manage ITP with the least possible amount of medications.
