Our 20-month old daughter has Had ITP for last six weeks starting with a count of 1 and continuing with numbers mostly below 10, until last week, when she had a count of 69--woohoo! Just two days after that, though, she came down with hand, foot, and mouth that her pediatrician says is "the worst she's ever seen." She also had a 24-hr fever of 104 about 10 days before. While I know it could be coincidence, and that's what our docs are saying, I just thought I'd see if anyone else had experienced poor immunity to colds and other things alongside ITP. Thanks!
