Hi Cindy - haven't been around for sometime. Have you been watching ARC - was soooo glad last night at the elimination! I don't really mind who wins now tho' I hope it's Sam and Sarah. Forgot to say Loved the NB segment - so beautiful. Keep well.:) :) :)

Hi Christine! Yeah, we've been watching it. I've had to record it because here in NB it's on at the same time as mum's news. We haven't watched last night's episode yet. I really don't want Dave and Irina to win it 'cause they just bug the bejeebers out of me! Now I'm cheering for Anthony and James! They didn't come here this year, they went to Nova Scotia. They were last season, I think.

Oops sorry , any of the Maritimes is exceptional. Friends have just returned from NS and brought me a souvenir from Blandford (my small home town in UK is Blandford) I'll not give you any spoilers of last nights episode.

That's ok, we watched the episode tonight! Yea, Dave and Irina are gone!!!!!! They really bugged me; so smug and conceited! I don't think you gave anything away.
I really hope Anthony and James take it! I've been wrong every year! I was hoping Dave and Jet would win it, but they go eliminated on the first night. Can't wait for next week!
"Farewell to Nova Scotia" is one of my favorite songs.
What a coincidence that there is a Blandford in NS and in the UK!

Amazing Race Canada. This is the 8th season for it! Canadians apply and for the first few years, they traversed the country. Lately they've been going abroad. This is the first year in a bit that it's been strictly in Canada.

AHA! I just couldn't figure out those initials. I've watched our Amazing Race - I like to see where in they go, so many places I would have loved to have seen but won't get to. I could never be on that show however, heights get to me something fierce and that has gotten worse the past couple of years.

I've seen a few episodes of TAR but got away from it. Heights don't really bother me, but some of the things the contestants have to do are really disgusting. Canada is really a beautiful country and I was disappointed when they took our race outside of it. We are a lot smaller than the US, so I understand why they have to do it. I don't think we're going to have many more seasons though, it seems to be getting harder to find contestants.

So Antony and James won - I was sooo pleased especially as they were from Edmonton. Sarah and Sam are from Calgary so Alberta did well in the competition. !!!!!

The only team I didn't like at all was Dave and Irina. They were both so conceited and felt they should win every leg. I'm so glad they weren't in the finale!
There was just something about Anthony and James that I liked. I'm so glad they won. I liked Sam and Sarah too and the sisters. I guess we're going to have another season to look forward to!
Steven's hoping to get a trailer or motor home and when my mom passes away, he's hoping we can travel across Canada. We have friends out in BC and I have a friend (who I've lost touch with) in Edmonton.

Thanks for the offer! Hopefully that won't be for a few more years! But at 89, we're grateful that she's still here!
