I haven't seen you around for some time or maybe I am just missing you on the board - I saw pics tonight about the snow in NB and hope it is not affecting you to much; I can't believe the amount of snow.. Rellies in NL are snowed under also. Meanwhile we are enjoying balmy weather here in S Alberta - although I am sure we are going to pay for it sometime. Take Care, Christine :)

Christine, we're holding our own. Just about done with all this snow, tho! Sundays storm had my city shut down, no buses, malls closed, even the plows taken off the road. They did make themselves available to help emergency responders. It wasn't nice. I was so happy that my husband didn't have to work that day! They actually closed his call center down. It's been a rough winter, normal snow removal over the last five years is just over 2k truck loads of snow; this winter alone it's been 18,000. It took a full week just to clean up the streets from the uptown area after the last storm. Sundays storm brought us anywhere from 27 to 39 cms, depending on what news report you listen to! Nice and sunny here yesterday, but because we weren't plowed out, Steven had to miss a day of work.

Nfld always seems to get hit! I hear they got something like 50 cms this last storm! Hope your rellies are doing well, all things considered.

Thanks for asking, but send us some of your nice sunny weather, please! We have friends in Vancouver and they are enjoying nice temps and weather too.

Hi Cindy,
That is incredible - I can only imagine.

Here last Saturday it was 41C (105.8F)! Our daughter celebrated her 30th birthday in the city at an inn with pizzas - golly it was hot! We went down & back that night & I 'crashed' the next day - did very little.
Now we are looking forward to Autumn, calm balmy days & cool nights.
Warm wishes,
mj

MJ, it's been an interesting 2015 so far, that's for sure! I'll see if I can post some of the pictures I've taken.

Here in Ontario we are getting sick of the snow and to see piles 6-8 feet high is normal. Everyday I am grateful I do not live where you live Cindy. We here are having trouble with where to put the snow, they started this past week closing local roads down town to clear the excess snow (as there was no where to park).

That said I can only imagine how bad it is where you live. Each time I hear the weather report I wonder where are they putting all the snow! We have had so little compared to you guys! Stay safe and warm!

I think we're finally getting caught up in snow removal! We're not getting much snow anymore either There's some coming tomorrow, but not much.

I've been without internet since last Wednesday, so this is the first chance I've had to get on. Landlord is in the hospital and hasn't been able to see what's going on. We're using our neighbors connection.
