Sending warm wishes to those affected by snow storms & extreme weather in the US.

I cannot even begin to imagine what it must be like in those conditions.

Here Down Under we are celebrating Australia Day, it is a mild sunny summer holiday!

Here in Colorado the temp reached 67° before the sun started to go down - but my friend on the east coast said they will probably get 3 feet + of snow. Told her I don't know what in the heck the east coast did to tick off Mother Nature in order to get all the bad storms they do.

You are nice to think of those who are in for the bad weather.

Here in NB, we're expecting up to 30cm's. Already have blizzard conditions and white out. Glad my hubby doesn't have to go to work today! Even my sister gets to stay home today!

  • I developed hemolytic anemia in 1999 and ITP in 2005. Treatments have been splenectomy, prednisone, IVIG, and Rituxan.

Thanks MJ, here in MA we are in the middle of a blizzard! Over 2 feet snow now and still coming down. Power has been off and on but by some miracle it is on now. My dog and 3 cats are terrified of all the noise from the wind and branches hitting the house.

Thinking of you also - we see pictures on our news. Here in Calgary it hit records highs +18 - I am sure we will pay for it later

It's still snowing here with more to come on Friday; 10-15 cm's; Sat. 10 cm's and I hear 20 cm's on Monday! Yuck!

We're doing okay here, only about six inches, but it is very cold (only about 6 degrees).
