As most of you in the northern hemisphere are trying to keep warm we have just had 3 days of . . . 109F! Unfortunately we had commitments in the city on 2 days & it was awful! I was really worried I'd have a nose bleed.
Back home on the coast we have had a blustery, thundery change. Big drops landing on the roof as I write.
We are on our own for Christmas this year as the family are all with the 'outlaws'. However we prefer not to get caught up in all the emotional turmoil that occurs around this time of year & are happy to wing it. I have planned a special seafood lunch. Yet to put up any decorations - can't seem to find the time or inclination.
So think of us when you are building your snowman :silly:

Have found another couple of 'orphan' friends to share Christmas Day with.
A happy Christmas & many blessings in the new year to all my ITP friends.

Came home from the city and found it too hot even to go for a swim (we face West & get the late afternoon glare off the sea plus the hot dry wind was off the land).
Have watered veggies & shifted pot plants. Am hoping to do some quiet inside activities for a few days. The Australian tennis Open is on, & I want to make 2 new baby quilts soon so can sort through my stash of fabric. Lots of moisturizer & nose oil!
Hope the cold front has settled over the other side of the world.

Power outages, fires across the state.
I am fortunate in not having to go out anywhere. Watered the garden & pots last night.
I started a jigsaw puzzle yesterday, the first in years & realized how much I enjoy doing them. Only 500 but achievable.
Moisturizer, hair conditioner, nose oil & bowls of water. Oh & an iced coffee!
Are you still making snowmen over there?
