Environmental Medicine

Environmental Medicine explores the role of dietary and environmental allergens in health and illness. Autoimmune, diseases, like ITP are generally linked to disruptions in the DNA. This type of disruption can be caused by an overload of allergens or environmental insults that the body is unable to process correctly. Environmental medicine addresses the elimination of toxic substances in the body, the body’s ability to process new environmental insults (unavoidable in today’s society), and lifestyle changes to avoid future problems.
