In addition to PDSA’s annual conference and local support group meetings, PDSA organizes regional meetings throughout the United States where patients hear medical professionals discuss state-of-the-science topics regarding the latest treatment options and answer questions concerning how patients and families can live their lives to the fullest while dealing with a life-altering platelet disorder. PDSA assesses member preferences, in addition to tapping the world’s leading experts on platelet disorders and related pertinent topics when designing program content. Our goal is more than teaching about interesting theories and research. We intend for our audience to leave feeling armed with practical information that can be put to use immediately.
